 Shoes and Socks Drive

An adequate supply of shoes and socks is always in demand by our growing children The costs of shoes for the orphanage is very prohibitive for them and a majority of the children where plastic sandals year round. With out decent shoes the children are not allowed to attend public schools. Shoe of Hope's focus has been obtaining sturdy athletic type footwear for the children. On an annual basis, the children will go through a minimum of 800 pairs of shoes, boots and 2500 pairs of socks.

Hope House

At age 16, adolescent boys and girls graduate from their orphanage. Not even out of their teens yet, they enter society, ill-prepared to function in the world of adults. In many cases this means that minor aged children end up living an unhealthily life style on rough streets. The Hope House mission is to provide a safe haven for these children who are forced to leave the orphanage at a developmentally crucial time ni their lives.

At the Hope House, children and teenagers can stay as long as necessary in order to gain essential life skills and training which will assist them in living an independent life.
